Job summary

IMC is seeking a Data Centre Engineer to join our APAC-focused Infrastructure team in Hong Kong. You will manage data centres across APAC, coordinate with IT teams in Sydney, and lead on-site troubleshooting and project delivery.

You’ll bring at least 3 years in IT infrastructure, data centre management experience, and strong communication in English (Mandarin a plus). Travel readiness and collaboration across vendors, brokers, and exchanges are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in IT infrastructure roles.
• Data centre management experience.
• Strong project management and organisational skills.
• Fluent English; Mandarin a plus.
• Linux server experience and networking skills.
• Hardware knowledge and trends.
• Willingness to travel frequently, including weekends.
• Analytical and investigative skills.
• Crucial thinking in fast-paced environments.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage IMC’s data centres with frequent travelling across APAC
• Coordinate projects with our IT teams in Sydney
• Provide racking and patching services in our remote data centres
• Coordinate with vendors on deliveries, installation, etc.
• Coordinate remote work with our brokers and exchanges
• Procurement through our standard suppliers and global vendors
• Data centre administration
