As a Team Manager at Lalamove, you’ll play a key role in shaping our Anti‑Fraud team and strengthening the trust that powers our platform. This is a chance to lead a dynamic group dedicated to identifying risks, preventing fraud, and protecting the integrity of our operations. You’ll guide the team’s priorities, support project execution, and foster collaboration that keeps our defences sharp and effective. Working closely with colleagues across HQ and local markets, you’ll help align strategies, enhance fraud detection systems, and share valuable insights with senior management.

What you’ll do
  • Design and oversee the technical roadmap for automated fraud detection rules, risk scoring models, and real‑time monitoring alerts.
  • Lead communication on potential risk/fraud/security issues within the local markets.
  • Lead the technical investigation into sophisticated fraud attacks and deploy immediate countermeasures.
  • Collaborate closely with senior management, local operations, engineering, legal, compliance to align and deliver effective and measurable risk management operations.
  • Develop and nurture a diverse team in 1+ location that aligns with local business needs and HQ's risk management. Key deliverables include but not limited to: deliver effective risk management strategy and operations; continuously improve fraud detection and counter measurements.
  • Manage team resources and personnel, including optimizing resource planning, coaching, motivating, and supervising team members.
  • Promote a culture of risk management, safety, and performance and foster a collaborative and self‑organizing work environment.
What we are looking for
  • 5+ years of experience in leading and mentoring an Anti‑Fraud/Risk Management/Trust & Safety team. Platform experience is highly preferred.
  • Strong hands‑on background in risk management, risk analysis, anti‑fraud compliance, and operational support.
  • Strong data analysis skills, proficient in SQL/scripting and querying logs and databases.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with senior management, local operations, and product management to ensure alignment with Anti‑Fraud and risk management vision and smooth operational support.
  • Proven ability to communicate technical status updates clearly to business stakeholders with a strategic mindset.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to speak Chinese a plus.
