Job summary

Baker Tilly Hong Kong is seeking graduates with strong Hong Kong tax knowledge and solid English communication to join our tax team. The role requires extensive HK tax experience and the ability to draft responses to HK IRD inquiries and stamp duty advice with independence.

Qualifications

• University graduates in accountancy, law or related discipline with HK taxation/Revenue Law major.
• HKICPA QP program completed or Taxation module completed.
• Excellent command of written and spoken English; hardworking and self-disciplined.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant tax experience with an international multi-disciplinary CPA firm in Hong Kong or with the HK Inland Revenue.
• Ability to handle Hong Kong tax compliance cases and draft replies to IRD queries on offshore claims.
• Ability to draft Hong Kong tax and stamp duty advice independently.
• Basic knowledge of the Mainland China individual income tax law.
• Able to meet deadlines under time pressure.

Job description

• Having completed HKICPA QP program or completed Taxation module;
• Excellent command of written and spoken English, hard working and self disciplined;
• Minimum 5 years relevant tax experiencewith an international multi-disciplinary CPA firm in Hong Kong or with the Hong Kong Inland Revenue;
• Ability in handling Hong Kong tax compliance cases and drafting comprehensive replies to IRD queries on all offshore claims;
• Ability to draft Hong Kong tax and stamp duty advice on an independent basis;
• Basic knowledge of the individual income tax law and system in mainland China;
• Able to meet deadlines under time pressure.
