Job summary

JD FINTECH INSIGHT (HONG KONG) is seeking a Tax Manager based in Hong Kong. The role focuses on providing expert tax support for the TMT business, coordinating filings, and managing tax inspections with a global perspective.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years in tax administration, experience in fintech or TMT sectors, and a background in Big 4. Proficiency in English and Chinese is essential.

Tax Manager (Based in Hong Kong)

Job Responsibilities

• Providing professional tax support for the TMT business, identifying, assessing and mitigating potential tax risks during the daily operations.
• Coordinating and verifying tax filing returns to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements, and navigating complex processes to optimize the organization's financial effectiveness.
• Strategically managing responses to local tax inspections, demonstrating a deep understanding in domestic and international tax aspects and meticulous preparation to effectively resolve any queries.
• Collaborating with business units on a range of tax related issues, leveraging expertise to provide insightful solutions to achieve organizational goals.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor degree or above in Accounting, Taxation or related field, experience in TMT / fintech companies and background in Big 4 accounting firms is preferred.
• Proficient in English and Chinese
• At least 5 years of experience in tax administration, with demonstrated excellence in tax administration, risk assessment and coordination, and independent judgment on professional issues.
• Innovative thinking, good communication and coordination skills, strong teamwork spirit, and able to effectively handle high work pressure.
