Job summary

Millennium in Hong Kong seeks an experienced Systematic Project and Product Manager to onboard and support systematic portfolio management teams. You will partner with Portfolio Managers and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technology deliverables.

The role requires 7+ years in project management and 5+ years in financial services across equities, futures, FX, options and electronic trading. You will lead multiple projects with traceability from specs to execution.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of relevant professional project management experience.
• 5+ years of financial services experience, preferably supporting equities, futures, FX, options and electronic trading.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across technical and business stakeholders.
• Ability to develop a strong understanding of business workflows across products and regions, as well as related technology components including data sets, infrastructure, quantitative tools, and execution platforms.
• Proven ability to identify and solve problems while managing multiple projects and priorities within tight timeframes.
• Experience developing user specifications and business requirements for development teams.
• Familiarity with waterfall and Agile development methodologies, as well as tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
• Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to streamline project planning, communication, and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Portfolio Managers and cross-functional teams to facilitate the efficient technology onboarding of new systematic trading groups.
• Consult with users to understand, document, and translate business requirements and workflows into clear technology deliverables.
• Track Portfolio Manager technology requests, maintaining accurate status updates and clear target completion dates.
• Manage expectations and communicate effectively with Portfolio Managers, Business Management, and development teams.
• Serve as the primary technology contact for multiple systematic Portfolio Managers across infrastructure, systematic data, and execution.
• Maintain end-to-end traceability between functional specifications, business requirements, and strategic objectives.
• Lead project management for bespoke strategic platform build-outs that may support multiple Portfolio Managers.
