Job summary

ST Engineering Advanced Networks & Sensors is seeking a System Engineer to design and integrate RF/communications systems, vehicle electronics, and electro-optical payloads. You will define interfaces between subsystems, perform trade-offs, and ensure compliance with environmental and automotive/military standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Communications, Mechatronics, or related Engineering discipline.
• 2 years' experience in RF/communications systems, Vehicle electronics/embedded systems, EO/sensor systems preferred.
• Knowledge of TCP/IP networking and system integration beneficial.
• Familiarity with EMI/EMC considerations and environmental testing is advantageous.
• Hands-on experience with test and measurement equipment (RF and/or electronics).

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end system architectures for communications, vehicle electronics, and EO payloads.
• Define interfaces between subsystems (RF, networking, vehicle power, sensors, EO/IR).
• Perform trade-offs to ensure performance, environmental, and regulatory compliance.
• Develop and execute test plans, FAT/SAT, and field trials; troubleshoot across RF, network, electronics, and EO domains.
• Produce design documents, ICDs, test reports, and support project timelines.
