Job summary

Spin Master is seeking an IT support professional in Hong Kong to install, configure and troubleshoot hardware, software and network systems. You will provide end-user assistance, maintain documentation, and collaborate with the regional IT team on projects.

The role requires a BS in CS/IT or related field, plus 3+ years in enterprise network management and system administration. Certifications (MCP, MCDST, MCSE, CCNA) are advantageous and ServiceNow experience is preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline.
  • Certifications such as MCP, MCDST, MCSE or CCNA are advantageous.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in enterprise network management and system administration.
  • Experience with LAN/WAN and wireless networks.
  • Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow).
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Good communication with regional and global teams.
  • Good written and spoken communication.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and resolve issues in hardware, software, and network systems; guide end-users with solutions.

  • Stay updated with technology trends and share knowledge with the team.
  • Provide prompt technical support to end-users on-site or remotely.

Job Description
What will you work on?
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot systems: Set up and maintain hardware and software systems, including servers, desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, video conference equipment and mobile devices. Resolve any technical issues that arise during installation or daily use.
  • Network support: Assist with the setup and maintenance of local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and wireless networks. Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and assist in the configuration of routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Issue diagnosis and resolution: Identify and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and network systems. Provide guidance and step-by-step instructions to end-users for problem resolution.
  • Documentation and reporting: Document support requests and resolutions in a ticketing system. Maintain accurate records of hardware and software inventory. Generate reports on support activities and system performance as required.
  • Collaboration with IT team: Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex technical issues, allow problems when necessary, and contribute to ongoing IT projects and initiatives.
  • Stay updated with technology trends: Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends in the IT field. Share knowledge and insights with the team to enhance the overall IT infrastructure and support services.
  • Provide technical support: Offer prompt and efficient technical assistance to end-users in various settings, including on-site, remote sites, remote users as required.
What are your skills and experience?
  • Bachelor Degree holders in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines.
  • Relevant industry certifications such as MCP, MCDST, MCSE, or CCNA are advantageous.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in enterprise network management and system administration.
  • Proven experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting hardware and software systems.
  • Experience with network setup and troubleshooting, including LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.
  • Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow) for managing incidents and change requests.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively
  • Good team player, able to communicate effectively with regional and global teams
  • Good command of written and spoken
  • Willing to learn and self‑motivated with a positive 'can-do' attitude
