The role involves liaising with business needs, leading a team of vendors, and overseeing the technological solution design. The ideal candidate has over 6 years of experience in IT development, strong application design skills particularly in JavaEE and .NET, and excellent technical writing capabilities. Strong communication skills in both oral and written forms are required for presentations to various audiences.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in IT development.
• 3+ years in application design using JavaEE and/or .NET and/or Mobile.
• Proven experience in large scale application development projects.
• Good understanding of IT best practices and methodologies.

• Provide solution for project implementation to responding for tender bidding, conducting presentation, demonstration and Proof-of-Concept exercise. This position leverages various IT technologies to lead the solution team to provide the best-fit solution to meet the business and technical requirements.
• Act as a liaison between the IT and business community making sure the proposed technology to meet business needs
• Lead a team of vendors, contractors and consultants to formulate solution proposal to the tender bidding
• Lead the overall design and architecture of the project delivery team
• Research, evaluate, and make recommendation regarding technology pertinent to business goals
• Prepare and deliver demonstration / presentation to a variety of audiences on a variety of software topics

Job Requirements

• University degree in Computer Science or relevant discipline.
• A minimum of 6 years of experience in IT development with at least 3 years in application design in JavaEE and/or .NET and/or Mobile technology
• Sound knowledge in open-sourced technologies and frameworks
• Proven experience in delivering large scale application development projects
• Good understanding of IT best practices and methodologies (e.g. PRINCE2, SSADM, RUP, etc).
• Experience working with diverse teams of vendors, consultants, and contractors.
• Excellent technical writing / documentation skills.
• Fluent in oral and written communication.
