Job summary

Randstad Hong Kong Limited client is seeking an experienced Vendor & Post-Trade Systems Analyst to manage third-party post-trade platform vendors, ensure contract compliance and SLA adherence, and oversee deployment, testing and incident resolution with vendor partners.

The role requires translating business requirements into functional specs, coordinating SIT/UAT, and governing across hybrid SaaS deployments within a global financial institution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in IT, Computer Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in post-trade systems analysis or application support with external vendors.
• Proven vendor governance, service delivery monitoring and release management experience.
• Strong technical background in post-trade processes: trade matching, settlement, reconciliations, corporate actions and custody operations.
• Experience with hybrid on-premise and SaaS deployments.
• Knowledge of interface protocols, API integration, and middleware.
• Familiarity with SWIFT ISO 15022/20022 messaging.
• Experience with Unix/Linux, Oracle, SFTP, and MQ.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage third-party post-trade platform vendors to ensure contract compliance, service quality, and SLAs.
• Lead vendor teams through configuration, deployment, testing, and post-implementation reviews.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications for vendor delivery.
• Serve as escalation point for system incidents and oversee L2/L3 vendor resolution timelines.
• Oversee vendor release schedules, SaaS config changes, and system updates.
• Assess interface architectures, data structures, and connectivity between external platforms and in-house systems.

• Coordinate System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and production verification alongside vendor partners.

• Minimum 7 years of experience in post-trade system analysis or application support, with direct experience managing external software vendors.
• Proven track record in vendor governance, service delivery monitoring, and vendor release management.
• Strong technical background in post-trade processes, including trade matching, clearing, settlement, reconciliations, corporate actions, and custody operations.
• Experience with hybrid deployment architectures combining on-premise systems and SaaS platforms.
• Working knowledge of interface protocols, API integration, middleware, SWIFT ISO 15022 (MT), and ISO 20022 (MX) messaging standards.
• Practical familiarity with Unix/Linux, Oracle, scripting tools, file-transfer protocols (SFTP), and MQ server setups.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to drive technical alignment with external vendor leadership.
