Job summary

Taylor Coulter's client in Hong Kong seeks a Systems Data Analyst to provide technical oversight of the BI system across design, development, testing and training.

Responsibilities include overseeing support and enhancements with vendors, reviewing project plans, coordinating with stakeholders, and leading meetings to ensure team alignment. Strong Chinese/English communication is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline.
• At least 6 years’ solid experience in system analysis, design and development of BI applications.
• Experience translating business needs into technical specifications.
• Experience with system implementation, including UAT, training material and SOPs.

JobResponsibilities:

Provide technical oversight in all activities relating to the Business Intelligence System including but not limited to the different stages of application development including design, development, system and user acceptance testing, training.

Oversee application support, maintenance, and post-implementation enhancements in collaboration with vendors and users.

Review and assess the project plan & project deliverables suggested by vendors, coordinate with vendors and recommend to users for final assessment.

Facilitate project meetings and training sessions to maintain team alignment

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline;

At least 6 years’ solid experience in system analysis, design and development of Business Intelligence Application.

Experience in analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to translate business needs into technical specifications.

Experience in various aspects of system implementation, including preparation of system analysis and design, user acceptance test, training material, system operation procedures.

Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Good command of written and spoken Chinese and English.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively with vendors and users.
