Job summary

Swire Properties is seeking a Manager, Sustainable Development to help shape and execute the SD 2030 strategy across its global portfolio. Reporting to the Senior Manager, you will drive ESG reporting, ensure compliance with HKEX rules, and reduce environmental impact of daily operations.

This role requires a Bachelor’s degree in environmental disciplines, 8+ years of experience, and strong collaboration skills to work with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in environmental, sustainability or related disciplines.
• Minimum of 8 years’ relevant working experience.
• Knowledge of Hong Kong environmental laws.
• Experience producing sustainability reports aligned with HKEX ESG Reporting Guide and/or GRI.
• Independent, well-organised team player with strong interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Manage the publication and independent data assurance of the annual sustainability/ESG report.
• Lead materiality assessment and stakeholder engagement to update SD strategy and risk framework.
• Enlist Swire Properties onto global/investor sustainability indices and awards.
• Support the implementation of net-zero climate strategy and Science-Based Targets.
• Plan and execute engagement programmes for employees, tenants, suppliers and NGOs.
• Develop SD communication channels, including intranet, websites and newsletters.
• Conduct research to identify opportunities across five pillars of SD strategy and performance.
• Provide training and technical support to business units to ensure SD action plans are delivered.
• Manage and empower the SD team to achieve objectives.
