Job summary

Avolta is seeking a Regional Supply Chain & Logistics Manager for APAC, based in Hong Kong. Lead regional logistics operations, partner with 3PLs, and optimize cost, service, and compliance across markets.

You will drive process improvements and collaborate with operations, commercial, and finance teams to enable growth. The role requires extensive APAC experience, strong analytics, and proficiency in ERP systems and Excel reporting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
  • 8+ years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or related operations.
  • Experience managing 3PLs and regional networks.
  • Knowledge of warehousing, transportation, inventory, customs, and trade compliance.
  • Proven ability to drive process improvements and operational efficiencies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent communication in a fast-paced regional environment.
  • Proficient in ERP systems and Excel reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor KPIs, audits, and business reviews of distribution and transport.
  • Coordinate stocktakes, returns, disposal, and inventory reconciliations.
  • Escalate logistics issues affecting countries, suppliers, or transport.
  • Support data accuracy and master data governance for product movement.
  • Develop logistics reporting and analytics for decision making.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams for expansion and transformation projects.

PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

The Supply Chain & Logistics Manager, APAC is responsible for driving efficient and compliant supply chain and logistics operations across the region. The role partners closely with country operations, commercial teams, suppliers, customs authorities, and third-party logistics providers to ensure products move efficiently through the network while balancing service levels, cost optimization, inventory control, and regulatory compliance.

This role will also identify and implement supply chain improvements, support new business initiatives, and act as a regional subject matter expert for logistics operations, transportation, warehousing, and customs processes.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Regional Supply Chain & Logistics Operations
  • Support and execute the regional logistics strategy to drive efficiency, service performance, and cost optimization across APAC.
  • Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PLs), ensuring service levels, operational performance, and contractual obligations are achieved.
  • Monitor distribution centre and logistics performance through KPIs, reporting, audits, and regular business reviews.
  • Coordinate key operational activities including stocktakes, product returns, disposal processes, and inventory reconciliations.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for logistics-related issues impacting countries, suppliers, warehouses, or transportation providers.
Process Improvement & Operational Excellence
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to streamline supply chain processes and improve operational productivity.
  • Drive optimization of inventory flow, warehouse operations, transportation networks, and distribution processes.
  • Partner with local and regional stakeholders to support business expansion projects, new market launches, and supply chain transformation initiatives.
  • Support data accuracy and master data governance to ensure effective product movement and operational efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain meaningful logistics performance reporting and analytics to support business decision-making.
Customs & Regulatory Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with import/export regulations, customs requirements, and local regulatory obligations across the region.
  • Liaise with external authorities, brokers, and logistics partners to address customs-related matters and operational challenges.
  • Support countries in managing import documentation requirements and maintaining compliance standards.
  • Monitor regulatory developments and provide guidance on potential impacts to supply chain operations.
Stakeholder Management
  • Collaborate closely with Commercial, Operations, Finance, Procurement, and Country teams to support business priorities.
  • Act as a regional subject matter expert on logistics, transportation, warehousing, and supply chain best practices.
  • Support supplier and partner discussions relating to logistics performance, service improvements, and cost management.
  • Coordinate cross-functional initiatives to improve supply chain effectiveness and customer service outcomes.
Cost Management
  • Monitor logistics and transportation costs to identify savings opportunities while maintaining service standards.
  • Review freight, warehousing, and customs-related expenditures for accuracy and compliance with contractual agreements.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost control initiatives relating to supply chain operations.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, warehousing, transportation, or distribution operations, preferably within retail, consumer goods, travel retail, or related industries.
  • Strong experience managing third-party logistics providers and regional logistics networks.
  • Knowledge of supply chain processes including warehousing, transportation, inventory management, customs, and international trade compliance.
  • Proven ability to drive process improvements and deliver operational efficiencies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Effective stakeholder management and influencing skills across different functions and countries.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, regional environment.
  • Proficient in ERP and supply chain systems, with strong Microsoft Excel and reporting capabilities.
  • Experience working across multiple APAC markets is highly desirable.
