Job summary

STRUT AIRCONDITIONING PTE LTD is seeking an onsite supervisor to manage and coordinate daily activities of pipefitters, welders, and installation teams in Hong Kong. The role emphasizes safety, quality control, and adherence to technical specs on site.

The candidate will interpret piping diagrams, liaise with managers and clients, and oversee progress reporting and documentation to ensure timely, budget-compliant project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Managing and coordinating the daily activities of pipefitters, welders, and other installation teams.
• Conducting regular safety meetings and inspections to enforce health, safety, and environment protocols.
• Inspecting all work to ensure it meets technical specifications, codes, and industry standards.
• Preparing work plans, allocating manpower, equipment, and material to ensure tasks are completed on time and within budget.
• Reviewing and interpreting technical documents, such as piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) and isometric drawings, and providing guidance to the crew.
• Liaising with project managers, other supervisors, and clients to solve issues and ensure seamless project execution.
• Preparing and submitting daily progress reports, managing 'as-built' sketches, and overseeing documentation for quality assurance.
• Supporting and overseeing the preparation and execution of system tests, such as hydrostatic and pneumatic tests.

• Reportinganddocumentation:Preparingandsubmittingdailyprogressreports,managing'as-built'sketches,andoverseeingdocumentationforqualityassurance.
• Testingandcommissioning:Supportingandoverseeingthepreparationandexecutionofsystemtests,suchashydrostaticandpneumatictests.
