Job summary

Selby Jennings is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist in Hong Kong to manage the full recruitment lifecycle across investment, distribution, operations, risk, finance, technology, and corporate functions.

You will build talent pipelines, screen candidates, negotiate offers, and partner with hiring managers to ensure a positive candidate experience.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 3–8 years of talent acquisition experience; English fluency is essential, with Cantonese/Mandarin a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• 3-8 years of talent acquisition experience, preferably within asset management, investment management, banking, private equity, hedge funds, or financial services.
• Proven track record of hiring across front-office and corporate functions.
• Strong sourcing and market mapping capabilities with experience using LinkedIn Recruiter and other recruitment tools.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in English is required; Cantonese and/or Mandarin would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment across investment, distribution, operations, risk, compliance, finance, technology, and corporate functions.
• Partner with hiring managers and business leaders to understand hiring needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
• Build and maintain strong talent pipelines through direct sourcing, networking, referrals, and market mapping.
• Conduct candidate screening, interviews, assessments, and coordinate the overall recruitment process.
• Drive offer management, salary benchmarking, and candidate negotiations.
• Work closely with external search firms and recruitment partners when required.
• Provide market intelligence, hiring trends, and competitor insights to hiring managers.
• Enhance employer branding initiatives and support talent attraction campaigns.
• Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment journey.
• Maintain recruitment data, hiring metrics, and reporting for management review.
• Support onboarding activities and contribute to broader HR projects as needed.
