The role focuses on RFQ/RFP processes, contract preparation, and risk mitigation, collaborating with engineering, operations, legal, finance and external partners to deliver value and continuous improvement.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree or above in Procurement & Supply Chain management, Business Administration, Accounting, Supply Chain or relevant discipline.
• 5 - 7 years' experience in procurement or supply chain management, exposure to utilities, energy or engineering industries is an advantage.

Responsabilidades

• Lead end-to-end procurement activities for LPG equipment and materials, ensuring quality, safety and cost-effectiveness.
• Manage sourcing and procurement of services including transportation, contractor services, engineering works, pipework projects, and lease renewals.
• Develop and execute procurement strategies (RFQ, RFP, tendering) to maximize value and mitigate risk.
• Conduct supplier negotiations on pricing, contractual terms, service levels, and delivery schedules to meet budget targets.
• Support ERP procurement modules implementation and process improvement.
• Perform supplier evaluations, audits and quality assurance to ensure compliance with internal policies and standards.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations to resolve product quality issues and ensure timely delivery.
• Build strong supplier relationships and drive long-term partnerships.
• Support ad-hoc procurement initiatives and projects from supervisor.

The Procurement Lead is responsible for managing sourcing and procurement of LPG-related products, engineering equipment, services, and general office supplies in accordance with company policies and compliance standards. He/she will handle preparation of RFQs/RFPs, vendor screening, negotiation, costing analysis, award evaluation, and contract preparation.

Working closely with internal stakeholders, this role will support the Legal & Compliance Manager in contract management ensuring enforceable terms, effective risk mitigation, and adherence to governance requirements, while also assisting with ad-hoc procurement activities and projects.

The position requires a strong commercial mindset to drive value optimization, cost efficiency, and supplier performance, as well as excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate effectively across engineering, operations, legal, finance and external partners.

This position offers the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to operational excellence, business continuity, and continuous improvement within the organization.

This position is internally at a senior officer level rather than a managerial grade.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end procurement activities for LPG-related equipment and materials, including LPG tanks, cylinders, vaporizers, piping systems, valves, meters and related components, ensuring quality, safety and cost-effectiveness.
• Manage the sourcing and procurement of services, including transportation, contractor services, engineering works, pipework projects, and lease renewals.
• Develop and execute effective procurement strategies, including RFQ, RFP, and tendering processes, to maximize commercial value, mitigate risk, and support business objectives.
• Conduct commercial negotiations with suppliers on pricing, contractual terms, service levels, and delivery schedules to achieve budget targets and key performance indicators.
• Participate in the implementation and optimization of ERP procurement modules, contributing to process improvement, data accuracy, and system adoption.
• Perform supplier evaluations, audits, and quality assurance reviews to ensure compliance with internal policies, safety regulations, and technical standards.
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to resolve product quality issues, manage supply risks, and ensure the timely delivery of critical equipment and services.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships, driving continuous improvement, reliability, and long-term partnership value.
• Support ad-hoc procurement initiatives and projects assigned by the supervisor
