Job summary

Brenntag is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Specialist in Hong Kong to coordinate end-to-end supply chain activities for project-based initiatives. You will manage procurement, production planning, inventory, logistics, and vendor communications to ensure timely material delivery and project execution.

The ideal candidate has 5–10 years in supply chain, strong cross-functional collaboration, and proven ability to drive cost efficiency while meeting milestones within budget.

Qualifications

• Diploma or above in Business, Supply Chain, Management or related field.
• 5–10+ years of relevant experience in supply chain, procurement, inventory and logistics.
• Experience managing supply chain activities within project-based environments.
• Strong understanding of project lifecycle management and cross-functional coordination.
• Proficient in planning tools and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage supply chain activities for assigned projects, ensuring alignment with timelines and budgets.
• Coordinate procurement, production planning, inventory management, logistics, and delivery schedules.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure project success.
• Develop and maintain project supply plans to ensure material availability.
• Track milestones, identify risks, and implement mitigation plans.
• Manage supplier performance and delivery tracking to meet requirements.
• Monitor inventory levels and optimize stock management.
• Support contract execution, purchase orders, and vendor communications.
• Prepare project status reports for management and stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement to improve efficiency, cost control, and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
