Cathay Pacific Group is seeking a Flight Dispatch professional to perform flight planning and dispatch duties, ensuring safe, cost-effective operations in line with company procedures. You will monitor ETDO operations, collaborate with IOC and Engineering, and provide flight watch coverage to minimize disruptions from ATC, weather, and NOTAM advisories.

The role requires full Dispatch training with EDTO, strong English, and at least two years in Flight Dispatch or airport operations, plus

Qualifications

• Full Flight Dispatch training included EDTO Flight Operations.
• Good knowledge of Flight Planning system operation.
• Good knowledge of airline and flight operations.
• Knowledge of using technology to improve work efficiency is preferred.
• Computer literacy in Microsoft Office programmes (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power Automate, SharePoint, Copilot).
• Strong leadership and analytical skills.
• Good time management skill, organized methodical and systematic approach to problem solving.
• Excellent command of English (Written and spoken).
• At least 2 years of working experience in Flight Dispatch and Airport Operation.

Responsabilités

• Ensure flight planning and crew briefing duties are delivered in an effective and efficient manner.
• Provide general flight watch coverage to minimize flight disruptions by evaluating, recommending, and implementing alternative dispatch solutions.
• Monitor EDTO operations to ensure flights operate within legal requirements and payload is optimized through cost-effective route planning.
• Work with IOC, Engineering, Airports, Cargo, and Flight Operations Management to implement cost effective solutions to day-of-operation problems.
• Liaise with ATC and Weather centers for flight plan filing and weather updates.
• Handle Flight Crew queries and feedback in a timely and helpful manner and channel through management.
• Mentor and motivate Briefing Officers in their duties to ensure a cohesive environment.
• Keep abreast of knowledge and developments in flight planning, dispatch methodology, regulatory environment, and technology.
• Perform on job trainer duty to develop a professional attitude and encourage staff.
• Support the management of AI agents or equivalent productivity tools.
