The Board of Management of The Chinese Permanent Cemeteries is seeking a Deputy Manager (Finance) to lead financial governance, budgeting and operations in Hong Kong. You will oversee investment strategy, cash flow, and financial reporting for the Board and Committee reviews, ensuring compliance with HK standards.

Qualifications

• Recognized university degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Professional accounting qualification (HKICPA/ACCA/CPA Australia) or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years at a managerial level.
• Strong technical accounting background and knowledge of HK financial reporting standards.
• Experience in managing or advising on investment portfolios with risk management knowledge.
• Excellent strategic analytical skills, leadership, and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Drive financial governance, budget management and overall financial operations for the Board.
• Monitor investment portfolio and capital allocation strategies; evaluate risks and returns for Board recommendations.
• Lead overall financial management, long-term planning, and resource optimization.
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, accounting standards and internal policies.
• Oversee annual budgeting, cash flow, variance analysis and preparation of high-quality financial statements.
• Liaise with auditors, implement internal controls, and review systems for process improvements.
• Manage and mentor finance staff to maintain high standards and continuous improvement.
