Job summary

MSF Hong Kong seeks a Director of Engagement and External Relations to lead an integrated engagement ecosystem across Fundraising, Communications, Outreach and Digital. You will set the overarching narrative, govern KPIs, and supervise a team of department heads to drive sustainable fundraising and public mobilisation.

The ideal candidate brings senior leadership experience in communications, fundraising and digital strategy, with a strong track record of data-led decision making and stakeholder

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Senior leadership experience managing multi-disciplinary teams through change.
• Proven ability to design and deliver integrated engagement strategies with measurable outcomes.
• Strong KPI forecasting and budget oversight.
• Deep understanding of digital engagement and ROI measurement.
• Excellent written and spoken English; Cantonese proficiency required.
• Experience in humanitarian/INGO sector and mass-market fundraising.
• Experience across HK and Singapore with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead engagement strategy across Fundraising, Communications, Outreach and Digital.
• Oversee data governance and performance metrics.
• Act as Local Spokesperson and manage crisis communications.
• Coordinate with department heads and ensure governance.
• Represent MSF in local and international forums.
