Job summary

Fargo Space (HK) seeks an experienced Compliance Manager to oversee regulatory compliance frameworks for our licensed entity in Hong Kong. You will lead risk management, design controls, and manage regulatory reporting in line with SFC requirements.

The role requires strong leadership, bilingual communication (English and Chinese), and deep knowledge of HKMA/HK regulatory frameworks, with a focus on Type 4/9 activities, training teams, and cross-functional initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Law, Finance, Business or related fields.
• 8+ years in compliance with SFC 1/4/9 licensing or equivalent.
• Proficiency in compliance tools and knowledge of HKMA, HK regulatory frameworks is a plus.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary regulatory contact for SFC and other authorities.
• Design, implement, and monitor compliance policies and controls.
• Lead audits, investigations and provide recommendations to senior management.
• Advise business units on compliance implications for new products and changes.
• Develop and deliver advanced compliance training programs.
