Job summary

Charterhouse Partnership Asia seeks an APAC Employment Tax & Global Mobility Lead to own employment tax and mobility tax matters across Asia Pacific. You will partner with HR, Payroll, Finance, and senior business stakeholders to deliver compliant, practical tax solutions.

You will influence tax governance, mobility strategy, and operating processes in a sophisticated international environment with broad regional exposure.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Employment Tax or Global Mobility tax is required.
• Strong knowledge of international assignments and payroll tax.
• Professional qualifications such as CTA, ADIT, ACA or CPA are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead employment tax and global mobility tax matters across APAC.
• Advise on international assignments, relocations and cross-border remote work.
• Manage tax implications for compensation, benefits, and equity plans.
• Oversee payroll withholding, shadow payroll, social security and compliance.
• Guide tax equalisation and tax protection policies for mobile employees.
• Assess risks and improve mobility and employment tax controls.
• Collaborate with HR, Payroll, Legal and external advisers.
• Drive governance frameworks and monitor APAC regulatory developments.
• Provide practical, business-focused tax solutions.
