Job summary

Watsons Hong Kong is hiring an Assistant Store Project Manager for a 1-year contract. You will coordinate store development initiatives from openings to renovations, working with Store Design and Procurement teams to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery and adherence to brand standards.

The role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and ability to manage multiple projects with attention to detail. Cantonese and English proficiency is essential, with a proactive, team-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Good problem-solving and basic presentation skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Good organization skills, with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work under pressure.
• Proficient in computer applications, including Excel and PowerPoint; AI or AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage.
• Good command of spoken and written Cantonese and English.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support store development projects including store openings, closures, re-fit, and renovation by collaborating closely with the Store Design Team and other Departments.
• Support project delivery across the full project cycle, including initial studies, proposal preparation, implementation, and close-out.
• Assist in preparing and maintaining project plans to track progress daily, weekly and monthly.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and support mitigation plans.
• Communicate project status with stakeholders and prepare updates and recommendations.
• Apply project management processes to improve efficiency and consistency.
• Identify and prioritize new project initiatives in line with business needs.
