Job summary

Binance is building the core data foundation for Binance's stock and related financial market businesses, responsible for the full pipeline from data source discovery, evaluation, ingestion, and integration to unified modeling, real-time processing, quality governance, and data services.

Beyond completing defined integrations, we expect you to leverage industry expertise to continuously identify better data sources and technical solutions, enabling new markets, products, and data to serve

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or above in CS, 5+ years in data development or platforms.
• Familiar with stock markets and data pipelines across financial data types.
• Proficient in SQL and Flink with real-time processing and troubleshooting.
• Proficient in Java, Scala or Python; familiar with Kafka, Spark, ClickHouse, Elasticsearch.
• Knowledge of data modeling, metadata, lineage, governance, and service levels.

Responsibilities

• Conduct data discovery, ingestion, cleansing, integration, and servicing of financial market data.
• Design scalable unified data models and integration frameworks for multi-market data.
• Build batch-stream pipelines centered on Flink, optimizing latency and throughput.
• Establish data quality, SLAs, monitoring, and alerting; enable data replay and backfill.
• Evaluate data sources and coordinate with product, legal, and compliance teams on usage and boundaries.
• Define data semantics and service contracts with cross-functional teams for consistent stock facts across products.
• Drive data engineering efficiency and governance through CI/CD, metadata, and lineage.
