Job summary

Binance in Hong Kong is seeking a senior Data Analyst to analyze, mine, and model large business data to build an algorithmic system that extracts valuable information for decision-making.

You will lead the Data Analyst team, design complex visualizations, and work with compliance to deliver impactful analytical use cases. The role handles PB-scale data using SQL, Python, R and big data tools in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a data analyst/science role.
• Bachelor's degree in quantitative or engineering field.
• Familiar with ML/DL algorithms; hands-on with LLMs preferred.
• Experience with SQL, R, and Python.
• Strong visualization experience (Tableau, Qlik, Power BI).
• Experience with large data and big data tech (Hadoop, Redshift, Spark, Presto, Hive).

Responsibilities

• Analyze large volumes of data to build an algorithmic system for information extraction.
• Lead data analyst team; design visualizations and analytical models for compliance.
• Collaborate with compliance to deliver analytical use cases with visuals and recommendations.
• Analyze PB-scale transactional, operational, and customer data with tools and kits.
• Support data requests from business stakeholders and assess impact.
• Work with compliance to identify and deliver impactful analytical use cases.
