Job summary

Pinpoint Asia is seeking a hands-on SRE/Cloud Operations Engineer in Hong Kong to manage production Kubernetes workloads, deployments, and monitoring, ensuring platform reliability and resilience.

You will automate repetitive tasks with Python and Bash, audit vendor materials for security, and provide on‑call support for maintenance and incidents in a large-scale microservices environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar field.
• Minimum 3 years IT experience, with a minimum of 2 years focused on enterprise system support or application implementation.
• Solid, practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes operations (configuration, troubleshooting, monitoring).
• Proven scripting skills in Bash and Python.
• Fluency in written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Mandarin is mandatory.

About the Client: An established enterprise in Hong Kong expanding its microservices architecture. They are actively building out their platform reliability functions and need a hands‑on engineer who can transition their infrastructure operations from manual support to automated SRE practices.

The Role & Landscape:

Administer production Kubernetes environments, handling application deployment, configuration, and monitoring.

Investigate production incidents, run root‑cause analysis, and deploy corrective actions.

Audit vendor deliverables—including technical docs, source code, and deployment materials to enforce internal security guidelines.

What We Are Looking For:
