Job summary

APJ Hong Kong provides software development, maintenance and testing services and seeks a Contract Senior Cloud Platform Engineer. You will design and implement IT systems across on-premise data centers and public cloud, manage cloud infrastructure for multiple project teams, and ensure SLA adherence while tuning performance.

The role requires 5+ years in IT infrastructure, multi-cloud architecture, microservices, and cloud cost management, with strong English/Chinese communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/IS or related discipline.
• At least 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure administration and support.
• Experience in Multi Cloud Solution Architecture (DevOps, API Management).
• Experience in Microservice Architecture (AKS, K8S, OpenShift).
• Experience with Chinese public clouds such as Alibaba Cloud or Huawei Cloud is an advantage.
• Experience in FinOps projects with knowledge of cloud cost management.
• Programming experience and a willingness to adapt to new technologies.
• Experience in supporting sizeable and complicated IT infrastructure is an advantage.
• Self-initiative and work with passion and a can-do attitude.
• Able to work independently and under pressure to meet schedule/deadline.
• Sound problem solving and analytical skill.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills in written and spoken English and Chinese, preferably Putonghua.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design and implement IT Systems across On-premise Data Centers and Public Cloud infrastructure.

You will be involving…

Join IT Platform team to plan, design and implement the IT Systems across the On-premise Data Centers and Public Cloud infrastructure.

Manage and implement the infrastructure for different project teams

Manage daily support and maintenance of the Cloud infrastructure to achieve the SLA of the applications.

Support the enhancement works and performance tuning for the Cloud and Data Analytic Platform.

Participate in various projects, provide systems support and maintenance, as well as liaise with users and work with contractors and vendors on technical works

Provide training and advices to other teams.

We are looking for…

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/ Information Technology / Information Systems or a related discipline

At least 5 years of working experience or above in IT infrastructure administration and support is a must.
