Job summary

MEDs Technologies Pte Ltd in Hong Kong is seeking a dedicated trainee for soldering and RF cable assembly work. You will assemble RF cable assemblies, prepare cables (cut, strip, crimp, shield), and perform visual self-inspection to ensure quality.

A structured 3–6 month soldering training program is provided; outstanding candidates may travel to China for advanced soldering training. After training, the role centers on soldering and related process tasks while following safety and housekeeping

Qualifications

• ITE qualification or equivalent required.
• Experience in soldering electronic products is preferred.
• Willing to work overtime when required and communicate with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Assemble RF cable assemblies and solder components.
• Prepare cables (cut, strip, crimp, shield, measure) and test per specs.
• Read RF cable drawings and perform visual inspection.
• Follow safety and housekeeping rules during operations.

• Test RF/MW assemblies with VNA per specs.
• Follow safety and housekeeping rules.
• Read and interpret RF cable drawings.
• Candidates are expected to commit to a 3 to 6 month soldering training program. Outstanding candidates during this period may be given the opportunity to travel to China for advanced soldering training. Following the 3 to 6 months soldering training, the main duties will primarily involve soldering work, as well as other process related tasks as needed.

Job Requirements

• ITE engineering qualification or equivalent.
• Experience in soldering electronic products is preferred.
• Self-motivated, goal-oriented, team player with a positive working attitude.
• Ability to communicate in Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
• Willing to work overtime when required. Perform other tasks as directed by Supervisor.
