ITEC in Hong Kong invites a Software Engineer Intern (Data Analysis) to join our R&D and engineering team on a 1-year contract. You’ll analyze machine and production data to support development, validation and continuous improvement of next‑generation semiconductor equipment.

Qualifications

• Fresh graduate with bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Software Engineering, AI or related discipline.
• Fresh graduates and candidates with up to 2 years of relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL, with knowledge of structured and time-series data processing.
• Familiarity with databases, data transformation, dataset versioning and automated data-validation techniques.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and technical-documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop tools for collecting, cleaning, validating and organizing machines and production data.
• Implement automated data-quality checks to identify missing, inconsistent, duplicated or abnormal records.
• Build dataset preparation and annotation workflows supporting controlled AI development and system verification.
• Maintain traceability between source data, processed datasets, software configurations and evaluation results.
• Develop data-review utilities and generate data-quality reports for technical validation.
