Job summary

EPAM Hong Kong is seeking a C++ Software Engineer for trading systems to build high-performance services for global electronic trading. You will work with trading and technology teams across design, coding, release, monitoring and production troubleshooting.

Responsibilities include developing C++ services, delivering changes end to end, troubleshooting production issues, building monitoring, and DevOps automation while collaborating with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building production-grade C++ applications.
• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms and software design.
• Experience with Linux in production environments.
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot distributed systems and microservices.
• Experience with Java or Python for service development or automation.

We are seeking a C++ Software Engineer (Trading Systems). You will build and improve global electronic trading services with a focus on performance, stability and scalable deployment. Partner with trading and technology teams to deliver changes end to end — from design and coding through release, monitoring and production troubleshooting.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience building production-grade C++ applications
• Knowledge of data structures, algorithms, software design and core programming concepts
• Working experience with Linux in production environments
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot distributed systems and microservice-based services
• Working knowledge of Java or Python for service development or automation
• Clear communication with technical and business-facing stakeholders across locations
• Problem-solving approach with ownership from investigation through resolution

Nice to have

• Exposure to Kubernetes, Helm and Docker
• Familiarity with Apache Kafka or similar event streaming platforms
• Experience with observability tools such as Grafana and Prometheus
