Job summary

CL Technical Services Ltd. in Hong Kong is seeking a Software Developer / Programmer experienced in Java and SQL to validate core system features through UAT, document issues, and retest fixes. You will contribute to data migration validation, ensure data integrity, and verify cross-field dependencies, with duties assigned by supervisors.

A higher diploma and hands-on development experience are required, including government-related work.

Qualifications

• Higher Diploma in Computer Science or relevant disciplines, or equivalent.
• At least 2 years experience in application development.
• At least 1 year's experience in JAVA Programming and Structured Query Language (SQL).
• At least 6 months' experience in Document Flow/Workflow Management System.
• At least 6 months' experience in work with the Government.

Responsibilities

• Execute pre-defined UAT test cases to validate core system features against business requirements.
• Identify, document, and report functional problems following the procedures and guidelines given by the supervisors.
• Retest resolved defects to confirm fixes and perform sanity checks to ensure new changes have not destabilized other system functions.
• Assist the data migration validation checking of source versus target data to ensure complete, accurate, and corruption-free data migration.
• Test converted data against the new system's validation rules including mandatory fields, format compliance, and cross-field dependencies to ensure operational readiness.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisors.
