Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain monitoring solutions using Dynatrace to ensure availability.
• Collaborate with development teams to build reliable systems and services.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and incidents quickly.
• Develop and maintain SRE documentation, runbooks and incident plans.
• Participate in on-call rotations and drive post-incident reviews.

Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with a strong background in Dynatrace Synthetic Monitoring. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of our systems and applications. You will work closely with development and operations teams to implement best practices in monitoring, incident response, and system design.

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and maintain monitoring solutions using Dynatrace Synthetic Monitoring to ensure optimal performance and availability of applications.
• Collaborate with development teams to build and maintain reliable systems and services.
• Proactively identify and resolve performance issues and bottlenecks in the system.
• Develop and maintain SRE documentation, including runbooks and incident response plans.
• Participate in on-call rotations and respond to incidents in a timely manner.
• Implement automation tools and frameworks to improve operational efficiency.
• Conduct post-incident reviews and implement improvements based on findings.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in site reliability engineering.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong expertise in Dynatrace Synthetic Monitoring.
• Proven experience in site reliability engineering or a related field.
• Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure and services (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols.
• Experience with incident management tools (PagerDuty, Opsgenie).
• Understanding of security best practices in cloud environments.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7-10 years of experience in site reliability engineering or a similar role.
• Relevant certifications in cloud technologies or site reliability engineering are a plus.
