Job summary

China State Construction Engineering (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking a Resident Assistant Structural Engineer (RASE) for the Kwu Tung North SS R501 project. You will supervise structural and geotechnical works, including off-site MiC modules, ensuring materials and workmanship meet specifications and procedures.

You will also monitor tests, site formation, and slope upgrading while maintaining thorough records and reporting to the Structural Designer and SUP.

Qualifications

• Degree holder in civil or structural engineering with minimum 2 years relevant working experience.

Responsibilities

• Watch, inspect, test and examine materials used and workmanship for all structural/geotechnical works, including off-site MiC modules.
• Ensure materials and workmanship comply with specifications, drawings and procedures.
• Supervise ground investigation works.
• Check and inspect site formation and slope upgrading works.
• Identify defective or substandard materials and coordinate tests/remedial works.
• Maintain records of defects and remedial actions and report progress to the SUP.
