Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a hands-on ITSM System Engineer to support a mission-critical, self-hosted ServiceNow ITSM platform in Hong Kong Island. You will administer, configure, and enhance the system, while collaborating with IT teams and vendors to meet business needs and ITIL standards.

The role requires 4+ years of ServiceNow experience, strong administration skills, and a solid grasp of ITIL CMDB processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience supporting, administering, or developing ServiceNow platforms.
• Hands-on ServiceNow administration, configuration, deployment, maintenance, and release management.
• Strong knowledge of ITIL processes including Asset Management and CMDB.
• Experience delivering workflows, automation, and integrations within ServiceNow.
• Proficient in Windows and Linux system administration and troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and enhance the self-hosted ServiceNow platform for stability and performance.
• Design and implement ServiceNow workflows, business rules, and automation scripts.
• Manage platform configuration, upgrades, releases, patching, and plugin deployments.
• Support ServiceNow integrations with internal apps and enterprise systems.
• Monitor health, troubleshoot issues, and identify root causes across app and infra layers.
• Analyze application, middleware, Windows, and Linux logs to resolve problems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors to gather requirements and drive improvements.
• Ensure ITIL-aligned solutions and governance standards across the platform.
• Maintain CMDB data integrity, asset management, and CM practices; prepare docs.
