Job summary

Starbridge Investment Management, a Hong Kong-based firm preparing to launch a quantamental US equities strategy, is seeking a senior investment professional to join the team. This seat covers US equities across sectors and involves leading research and mentoring junior staff.

Qualifications

SFC Type 9 RO status now or within the last 6 months.
At least 7 years buy-side experience with ideas implemented in client portfolios.
Substantial US equity research experience.
At least two years leading or mentoring analysts.
Strong top-down and bottom-up research, modelling, and valuation.
Curious, data-driven, with depth on a name; quantitative skills a plus.
Fluent English; Mandarin or Cantonese a plus.

Responsibilities

Conduct top-down and bottom-up US equity research and generate investment ideas.
Own assumptions behind ideas and present them to a small senior team including the CIO.
Work with the quantitative desk, feeding fundamental observations into models and processes.
Collaborate on decision-making and contribute to strategy ahead of launch.
Lead or mentor analysts and contribute to a collaborative investment culture.
