Job summary

Starbridge Investment Management Limited, a Hong Kong-based investment management firm, invites a senior professional to join our US equities team. The role covers top-down and bottom-up research, generating and presenting ideas, and owning the assumptions within a small senior team.

The successful candidate will be appointed as an SFC Type 9 Responsible Officer and Manager-In-Charge of a Key Business Line, with oversight responsibilities.

Qualifications

• SFC Type 9 RO status or recent RO within six months.
• At least seven years buy-side experience with implementable ideas.
• Substantial US equity research and investment experience.
• Two years leading or mentoring analysts.
• Strong top-down and bottom-up research, financial modelling and valuation.
• Fluent English; Mandarin or Cantonese a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead US equities research across sectors and generate investment ideas.
• Own assumptions and present ideas to a senior team.
• Collaborate with the quantitative desk feeding insights into models.
• Appointed as RO and Manager-In-Charge of a Key Business Line; oversee related duties.
• Support licence process and oversight responsibilities as required.
