Job summary

HSBC Holdings plc in Hong Kong seeks a highly skilled Wealth Planner to deliver comprehensive wealth structuring and succession guidance for high and ultra-high net-worth clients in the offshore China and offshore Taiwan markets.

Reporting to the Head of Wealth Planning for Greater China, you will collaborate with the Wealth Planning & Advisory team and external partners to cross-sell HSBC’s legacy capabilities, train relationship managers, and stay ahead of industry trends.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of relevant experience in financial institutions, professional firms or independent trust companies.
• Degree holder in law, accounting or finance, preferably with STEP, CPA, or law qualification.
• Fluent in Chinese and English with Putonghua advisory experience.
• Willingness to travel for business.

Responsibilities

• Provide wealth structuring and wealth succession guidance for UHNW clients in offshore China and offshore Taiwan markets.
• Collaborate with Wealth Planning & Advisory team and external partners to enable cross-sell of HSBC’s legacy capabilities.
• Drive business strategies and revenue growth while upholding client-centric standards.
• Train relationship managers and other stakeholders; participate in ad-hoc projects.
• Monitor industry trends and maintain relationships with intermediaries in wealth planning.
