Job summary

Flow State Recruitment Limited is seeking a Senior/ Estimator/ Estimator Manager to lead tender pricing for bills of quantities. You will build up rates from sub-contractors and suppliers to establish accurate tender costs and support competitive bids.

The role requires a Quantity Surveying qualification with 5+ years in estimation, strong English communication, and good PC skills. Candidates with less experience may be considered for Assistant Estimator.

Qualifications

• Higher Diploma or above in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• 5 years or above relevant experience in estimation, quotation enquires, tender analysis, procurement; experience in building works preferable.
• Good communication skill, self-motivated, immaculate, hardworking and independent.
• Good PC knowledge.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
• Candidate with less experience can be considered for the position of Assistant Estimator.

Responsibilities

• Establishes tender cost to the best accuracy by pricing the bills of quantities through building up rates from quotation received from sub-contractors and suppliers.
• Assist in achieving competitive tender cost by liaising with sub-contractors and suppliers for better price.
• Facilitate cost control and review by ensuring the correctness of the construction breakdown.
• Provide accurate cost data and contractual information to related parties.
• Drafting and preparing our own specification for domestic sub-contractors.
• Taking off quantities from drawing and prepare B.Q. when required.
• Ensure all assigned responsibilities relating to quality are carried out in accordance with the Company quality procedures.
