Job summary

HKEX’s Systems & Network Operations Department ensures the stability and evolution of the IT infrastructure supporting Hong Kong's markets. A Technical Project Manager will lead network and infrastructure projects, coordinating with engineering, architecture, application teams, business users, vendors, and manufacturers to deliver successful outcomes.

Qualifications

University degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
8+ years' experience in project management, infrastructure transformation, or technology delivery within financial institutions or large-scale technology organizations.
Experience with enterprise networking and large-scale infrastructure projects.
Ability to coordinate delivery across multiple teams and manage dependencies, resources, and schedules.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans with scope, milestones, dependencies, and budgets.
Lead cross-functional project teams, monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation measures.
Understand infrastructure architectures and ensure coordinated planning across systems and projects.
Plan schedules based on technical dependencies, resources, maintenance windows, and vendor deliverables.
Coordinate shared resources across concurrent projects and external vendors.
Build strong stakeholder relationships and communicate project status to sponsors and governance committees.
Promote standardized project management processes and tools across infrastructure projects.
