Job summary

Liberty Mutual Insurance is seeking a Senior Tech Product Owner to own one or more complex application domains and drive backlog prioritization, delivery outcomes, and stakeholder engagement. The role focuses on modernization, stability, and alignment with business needs.

You will partner with architecture, engineering, QA, operations, and vendors to deliver changes, while coaching junior Product Owners and ensuring continuous improvement across the domain.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years in product ownership or related IT roles.
• At least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC and Agile.
• Experience with technical teams and vendors.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the product backlog for a complex domain; define epics, features, and user stories.
• Prioritize work based on business value, risk, and technical sustainability.
• Collaborate with architecture, engineering, QA, operations, and vendors to deliver changes.
• Support release planning and sprint governance.
• Coach junior Tech Product Owners and share knowledge.
