Job summary

Leadingnation is seeking a (Senior) System Analyst to join the Listing Systems Application team in Hong Kong. The successful candidate will design, develop, and support frontend architecture and high-responsive web applications using modern JavaScript technologies.

With over 8 years of IT experience, the candidate should exhibit strong proficiency in frontend frameworks and DevSecOps tooling. This is a contract position offering a standard 40 hours work week.

Job Summary:

Currently Listing Systems Application team is hiring for (Senior) System Analyst. This incumbent will design, develop and support frontend architecture, JavaScript framework, and highly responsive HTML5/CSS based Single Page (SPA) and Multi Page Web Applications.

Job Duties:

Job Responsibilities:

Design, develop and support frontend architecture, JavaScript framework, and highly responsive HTML5/CSS based Single Page (SPA) and Multi Page Web Applications.

Prototype and redesign feature according to business requirements

Manage and participate in activities across SDLC phases, from requirement analysis, design, documentation, system development, testing and deployment to support

Lead and participate in frontend architecture review, technical design reviews and code reviews

Monitor and improve front-end performance

Mentor new members of the frontend development team

Work and collaborate with other teams such as HKEX internal IT teams, business users, external vendors etc.

Job Requirements:

At least 8 years' IT work experience in application development and support of critical business application systems.

Understanding and Experience with basic DevSecOps tooling, Git workflow and CI/CD systems.

Experience with unit / component / end-to-end testing frameworks like Jest / Playwright / Cypress.

Experience with static code scanning tools such as SonarQube, Blackduck etc.

Experience with containerization technology such as Docker / Kubernetes.

Good understanding of backend systems and micro-services.

Strong proficiency in modern JavaScript technologies.

Degree in Computer Science, MIS, IT or related disciplines.

Proficiency in various frontend development frameworks, such as jQuery, React.js, Next.js and styling frameworks, such as Bootstrap or Material UI, and style languages, such as CSS and Sass.

Building advanced responsive layouts.

Experience and expertise in frontend UI architecture, component/framework, state management design.

Experience with browser-based debugging.

Solid experience on REST APIs, JSON, Test Driven Development (TDD) and standards.

Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, AliCloud, etc.) and their front-end relevant services.

Knowledge in OAuth2 frameworks-based Web security for Cloud Native Applications and APIs.

Knowledge in Node.js, package manager such as npm and build tools such as vite, webpack etc.

Excellent problem-solving ability and desire to learn new technologies and platforms.

Solid communication skills: Demonstrated ability to explain complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.
