Job summary
Global Talent Services Limited is recruiting a Senior System Analyst for Life Admin in the insurance sector. The role involves leading systems analysis, design, and maintenance of applications, with responsibilities spanning project governance and vendor management.
Strong English and Chinese communication skills are required. The candidate should have a degree in computer science and at least eight years in IT, including two in system analysis, and experience with Informix/DB2/Visual Basic/.Net
Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science or related disciplines.
- Minimum 8 years IT experience with at least 2 years as a System Analyst.
- Solid experience in implementing projects of various sizes.
- Insurance or financial systems knowledge is advantageous.
- Strong systems design and problem solving skills.
- Experience with project governance and IT best practices.
Responsibilities
- Customize, enhance and maintain application systems.
- Perform systems analysis and design.
- Provide system support for complex inquiries and production issues.
- Lead and guide analysts and developers to complete tasks.
- Assist IT Managers on project, team and vendor management.
- Establish QA processes and testing strategies.
- Ensure service levels and regulatory compliance.
