We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Systems Analyst with a proven track record in the banking industry. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end development, enhancement, and maintenance of mission-critical applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, enhance, and maintain Java-based enterprise and banking applications, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and cross-functional IT teams to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
- Participate actively in the system development lifecycle (SDLC), including system analysis, design, development, code reviews, unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
- Plan, coordinate, and manage system deployments, upgrades, patches, and releases, ensuring minimal downtime and seamless application operations.
- Monitor application performance and troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve production issues, providing timely root-cause analysis and preventive solutions.
- Contribute to system architecture design and technical decision-making, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards, security policies, and best practices.
- Maintain technical documentation, system specifications, and operational procedures to support long-term maintainability.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by recommending enhancements to system functionality, performance, and reliability.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 7-10 years of hands-on professional experience in Java development, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.
- Proven experience working on mission-critical enterprise applications with high availability and robust security requirements.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to work under pressure in production environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of software development best practices, including object-oriented design, testing methodologies, and code quality standards.
- Experience or domain knowledge in investment products, treasury systems, core banking platforms, or general banking systems is a strong advantage.
