Job summary

Job description

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for system design, development, implementation and support of the bank application systems, including web application systems, mobile App and API systems.
• Participate in key projects for expansion of the business to ensure seamless implementation.
• Troubleshoot problem and propose recommendation to solve issue
• Assist the project manager in project management.
• Facilitate user requirement gathering, recommend best practice solutions
• Prepare technical documentation

Requirements:

• Degree or above with major in Information Technology, Computer Science or related discipline.
• 5+ years of relevant IT experience, preferably in Banking Industry is preferred.
• Strong experience in Java development, web application development, mobile app, API and complete software development life cycle.
• Experience of system development on Linux platform.
• Experience related to DevSecOps, API/ Microservice development in Java, SpringBoot, OpenShift, Istio, Public (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP) or Private Cloud platform, Maven, ELK, GitLab is a plus.
• Knowledge on Oracle, DB2, MySQL, Mongo DB, WebSphere, MQ is an advantage.
• Project experience on Cloud or Microservice is an advantage.
• Strong analytic and communication skills.
• Good command of written English and Chinese.
• Good command of spoken English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
