Job summary

Yunex Traffic in Hong Kong seeks a System Engineer to translate customer requirements into integrated Intelligent Transport Systems solutions. You will coordinate across hardware, software, communications and field subsystems, and support testing, commissioning and handover.

The role requires a degree in engineering and 5–8 years in systems engineering or related fields, plus strong English and Chinese language skills. Cantonese in demand; Mandarin helpful.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronic, Systems, Control, Computer or a related engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and cross-disciplinary collaboration abilities.
• Excellent stakeholder-management, written communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyse customer, contract and stakeholder requirements and translate them into system requirements and specs.
• Develop and maintain overall system architecture across hardware, software, communications and field subsystems.
• Lead integration of standard and customised products, ensuring interfaces are coordinated and functionality is achieved.
• Support system verification, validation, testing, commissioning and handover throughout the project lifecycle.
