Job summary

Yunex (Hong Kong) Limited is seeking a Technician / Senior Technician to perform routine preventive maintenance on SCATS and SCOOT traffic controllers and related devices in Hong Kong.

The role requires shift duties, on-site support, and collaboration with system engineers; experience with MS Office and AutoCAD is preferred. Cantonese and English communication essential.

Candidates with electrical qualifications and willingness to work outdoors will be considered for Senior Technician roles.

Qualifications

• Higher Diploma / Higher Certificate in Electrical/ Mechanical/ Electronic Engineering or related discipline.
• Preferable with experience in SCATS and SCOOT controllers or other traffic signal controllers.
• Competent in MS Office applications; knowledge in AutoCAD / micro-station is an advantage.
• Good communication skills in English and Cantonese; team player and customer-focused.
• Willing to work shift duties; outdoor work may be required; driving license is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine Preventive Maintenance for SCATS and SCOOT traffic controllers and other signal-related auxilary devices.
• 24 hours stand-by for maintenance on-call services.
• Provide 1st and 2nd line Corrective Maintenance after received maintenance call and prepare the Corrective Maintenance Report.
• Support system engineer for trouble shooting, fault investigation and testing.
• Follow the documentation control to prepare reports, records and update databases.
• Assist interface and coordination work on site, carryout the modification work, Testing and Commissioning, till handover.
• May need to support other working team, following the instruction by the Project Manager or Supervisor.
