Job summary

FWD Group is seeking an experienced lead for enterprise application development in a web/mobile, cloud‑based environment with AI‑assisted development. You will collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to deliver scalable, high‑quality systems while driving AI‑assisted innovation.

Responsibilities include frontend/backend design, SDLC compliance, project leadership, and production support. The role requires strong analytical skills, effective communication, and insurance/financial services

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in system development and project delivery.
• Experience in SIT/UAT and production releases.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Effective communication and stakeholder management.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in insurance or financial services system integration.

Responsibilities

• Prepare technical specifications, system flows, integration designs, and mobile documents.
• Ensure SDLC compliance, security, coding standards, and cloud architecture best practices.
• Use AI tools such as GitHub Copilot to improve coding, testing, and delivery efficiency.
• Manage end‑to‑end system implementation projects with Agile or Waterfall.
• Plan timelines, resources, deliverables, and feasibility assessments.
• Coordinate with users, vendors, QA, infra, and dev teams for delivery alignment.
• Oversee SIT, UAT, and production deployment activities.
• Provide technical leadership and stakeholder communication.

Lead the design, development, and delivery of enterprise applications with a focus on web and mobile solutions, cloud‑based architecture, and modern development practices. This role partners with business and IT stakeholders to deliver scalable, high‑quality systems while driving adoption of AI‑assisted development and digital innovation.

The Job

System Development

• Analyze requirements and deliver scalable system, web, mobile, cloud, and AI‑assisted solutions
• Design and develop frontend distribution platforms using Angular, PHP, WordPress, Node.js, microservices, AKS and APIs
• Prepare technical specifications, system flows, integration designs, and mobile application documents
• Ensure SDLC compliance, security, coding standards, and cloud architecture best practices
• Use AI tools such as GitHub Copilot to improve coding, testing, requirement analysis, and delivery efficiency

Project Management

• Manage end‑to‑end system implementation projects using Agile or Waterfall delivery methodologies
• Plan project timelines, resources, deliverables, effort estimation, and feasibility assessments
• Coordinate with business users, vendors, QA, infrastructure teams, and development teams to ensure delivery alignment
• Oversee SIT, UAT, and production deployment activities
• Ensure proper documentation, traceability, and audit compliance
• Provide technical leadership, guide development teams, and support effective stakeholder communication

Production Support

• Provide production support for frontend distribution platforms and related applications
• Monitor system stability, investigate incidents, and coordinate timely issue resolution
• Work with business users, vendors, and technical teams to manage production defects and service requests
• Support release deployment, post‑implementation verification, and production readiness activities
• Ensure proper incident tracking, root cause analysis, and preventive actions for recurring issues

The Person

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related disciplines
• Minimum 6 years of experience in system development and project delivery
• Experience in managing SIT/UAT and production releases
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Effective communication and stakeholder management
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
• Proactive, detail‑oriented, and collaborative team player
• Experience in insurance or financial services system integration

Technical Skills

• Frontend: Angular, PHP, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript
• Backend / Integration: WordPress, Node.js, REST APIs, Microservices, MongoDB, MySQL, MS SQL, AKS, Azure Function, MS .Net Framework (preferred), etc
• Cloud: Azure
• DevOps: Git, CI/CD pipelines
• AI Tools: GitHub Copilot (preferred)
