Job summary

China Harbour Engineering Company Ltd. is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer to perform structural design and analysis for diverse projects in Hong Kong. The role involves preparing drawings and reports, coordinating with clients and the construction team, and overseeing external consultants.

Requirements include a Civil/Structural Engineering degree and at least 5 years of structural design experience. RPE(STL/CVL) is mandatory for senior levels; main contractor exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years working experience in structural design works.
For Senior Engineer and above, RPE(STL and/or CVL) is a MUST.
Experience with main contractors is preferred but not a must.

Responsibilities

To carry out structural design/analysis for different projects.
To prepare structural drawings and reports for structural design.
To coordinate with client, construction team, and other designers regarding permanent and major temporary works.
To assist in alternative design to meet client and statutory requirements.
To manage and supervise external consultants.
To carry out statutory site supervision work, if necessary.
To handle ad-hoc tasks assigned by superiors.
To assist tender preparation
