Reap is building a Site Reliability Engineering practice. You will own the reliability of a payments platform across multiple AWS regions, enforcing SLIs/SLOs and shifting to a self-service, IaC-driven model.

This senior IC role emphasizes technical excellence and hands-on leadership across a distributed team. You will shape reliability, security, and observability while growing the platform to support new markets and products.

Qualifications

• Senior individual contributor with hands-on leadership.

Responsibilities

• Define SLIs and SLOs with product and engineering teams; manage error budgets.
• Participate in on-call rotation and build incident response practices.
• Drive IaC coverage; eliminate manual provisioning and drift.
• Consolidate Terraform estate with modular governance and automated drift detection.
• Automate account provisioning for new regions and services; enable self-service for teams.
• Build self-service interfaces so product/engineering can deploy and observe without tickets.
