Job summary

Hop Lee Builders Company Limited is recruiting a seasoned engineer to lead structural analysis and temporary works design across project phases. You will prepare method statements, shop drawings and address technical matters with a range of stakeholders, including architects and sub-contractors, while ensuring quality compliance.

The role requires a Civil/Structural background with at least eight years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

Degree or equivalent in Civil / Construction Engineering / Structural Engineering or related disciplines.
Minimum 8 years’ relevant working experience in Civil / Structural / Building Engineering or equivalent.
Member of Hong Kong Institution of Engineers is an advantage.
Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese.
Independent, responsible, analytical and well-organized with good interpersonal skills.
Immediately available is highly preferred.
Applicant with less experience will be considered as Assistant Site Engineer.

Responsibilities

Carry out overall structural analysis & design of temporary works during all phases of projects.
Participate in the preparation of method statements, shop drawings and other technical related matters.
Identify potential engineering problems with recommended solutions.
Carry out inspection of works and material in according to quality plans.
Liaise with Architect/ Client/ Consultants and sub-contractors for technical matters.
Perform the role of Technically Competent Person (TCP) as specified in Site.
