Job summary

Artistic Design & Engineering Ltd is seeking a highly responsible Registered Safety Officer (RSO) to oversee site safety management for construction projects, including ventilation and lighting enhancement works, in full compliance with HK safety laws and CIC requirements.

You will lead the safety team in Dynamic Risk Assessments, manage Permit-to-Work systems, and maintain a controlled safe environment for E&M installation, dismantling, and work at height activities.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Safety Officer (RSO) with the Hong Kong Labour Department.
• Proven safety management experience on building maintenance, E&M, or renovation projects.
• Solid knowledge of HK safety laws, CIC safety guidelines, and related regulations.
• Strong ability to prepare safety documents (Method Statements, Safety Plans).
• Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese.

Responsibilities

• Implement CIC Safety Requirements across the site.
• Review and supervise daily and shift Dynamic Risk Assessments.
• Administer the Permit-to-Work system for high‑risk activities.
• Coordinate statutory inspections and Form 5 signing for scaffolding.
• Conduct mandatory safety briefings and verify training certificates.
• Enforce environmental controls (5S, chemical waste) and manage Heat Stress precautions.
• Handle site incidents and issue preliminary and investigation reports within timelines.
